Following the announcement that we were

stopping production of the Aloha, the

French Sailing Federation (FFVoile)

organised a series of test days to choose a

new one design board for Minimes and

Cadets riders.

Thanks to its easy control plus its good up and

downwind performance, the Techno 293 came

top in the tests, thus becoming the official new

Junior and youth competition board. The

Techno 293 One Design fits perfectly with the

requirement for a very wide wind range from 5 -

30 knots. Apart from competition, the Techno

293 OD will be used extensively in teaching,

allowing clubs the opportunity to invest in a

single board to cover a wide range, reducing

their equipment needs. Finally, the Techno 293

One Design also sho ws a distinct funboard side

in medium winds. It's fitted with a retractable

dagger board, has a 3 position mastfoot rail and

multiple footstraps inserts.
