EFPT Ialysos Freestyle 2007 Competition Results

The Ialysos Freestyle Competition ends with and the EFPT moves on to Turkey after having an amazing time on this fantastic beach.

As the wind picked up again quite late the Race director didn’t see any possibility to finish elimination so the guys went out on the water having one long Super session. Actually it was rather free sailing at its best. And so everyone on the beach was infected by the smiling and happy faces of the competitors.

We’re leaving Rhodes again and its hard to describe how much we liked it here again. The crew of the Organizers gave us such a great time on the island that we are already looking forward for the next year. The windsurfing centres gave us the greatest support and the riders paid it back by showing the latest moves in front of the beach.

In the evening the top riders were presented once again and got their trophies in the “blue Horizon” hotel were all of us were invited to fantastic barbeque.

Some guys have to go home but the bigger part takes the ferry to Turkey which leaves on Monday morning from the Rhodes port.

We say thanks to the organizers, Rhodes town and all guys who supported us here so much. We hope that their season will be as great as the few days that we were allowed to share with them.

Ialysos beach will stay in our minds and we will be back for sure…
